Marcia Gay Harden

Marcia Gay Harden was born on the 14th of August of 1959 in La Jolla, California, the youngest of five children. Beverly Bushfield was her mother. Thad Harden who was serving in the army service, was the father. They moved a lother first interest with theatre when the family was in Greece as she had attended plays in Athens. Harden began her studies at American universities in Europe before returning to the US to complete her study at the University of Texas in 1983; went on to earn an MFA at NYU in the following year, and then, embarked on her acting career. She had already starred in one film in 1986 with The Imagemaker, but her first role as a principal was in Miller's Crossing, the Coen Brothers humorous, witty tribute to the gangster genre. Harden's stunning portrayal of Verna the mysterious and seductive moll, received positive evaluations. Harden then worked in supporting characters. Harden was the lead character in Ava Gardner, a TV biopic about Frank Sinatra. Marcia Marcia Marcia
