Jill Hennessy

Her heritage is mixed, including Irish Italians, Swedish, Italians, Frenchs, and Ukrainians. Jacqueline is her twin sister and also an actor. Jill was fluent in many languages throughout her childhood. This include Italian, French, and Spanish. When she was 12, she began to become interested in acting. The path to acting began in Toronto as she was the assistant for David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers, along with her younger sister. In the following years, she was studying improv at Second City with Deb Kimmet. A few years later, she relocated in New York and signed a deal as an Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the long popular hit series Law & Order. Also, she was a part of films like RoboCop 3 (1998), Ron Howard's The Paper (2000) and I Shot Andy Warhol 1996) throughout her three-year period. She worked in a few forgettable films over the following months, and then landed an acting role in the miniseries uremberg which was co-produced by Alec Baldwin. Major roles in productions including Autumn in New York and Exit Wounds followed. In 2001 she was cast in leading roles in the crime drama on NBC Crossing Jordan and in 2007, she won a Gracie Allen award as "Outstanding Female Actress in an Drama Series" for her work in the series. In 2000 she married another actor Paolo Mastropietro. They have two kids. In 2007 She was inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame. Jill Jill Jill Jill Jill
